In my last post I mentioned my New Year's resolutions which were to...what were they again? Oh yeah...live healthier spiritually, physically and emotionally and...blog/journal more.
I was thinking about combining the two thoughts into one by keeping track of my progress online, creating accountability of sorts.
My biggest focal points for living a healthier spiritual life would be my disciplines of reading God's word and praying.
Living a healthy physical life would entail that I would watch my diet, exercise regularly, and get enough rest.
And honestly, I think hitting the first two goals results in being emotionally healthy.
In thinking about these goals recently, I think it would help me to track my progress online and show my growth...so that's what I am going to do. If I didn't hit the mark, then I will admit it. I'm not going to exercise every day and there will be times when I stay up past my bedtime. But I think over time I will grow closer to achieving these goals.
Lastly, I thought I might start posting our setlists out on my blog in case any worship leaders stumble across it and are looking for new songs to check out. I know I'd benefit from posts like that so I am going try it myself.

Glad you're going to journal more. Writing thoughts down helps us stay on track instead of them randomly ricocheting off the walls. Don't worry about accountability. It's 'tween you and God and family. Have fun. J
thanks janet. actually i am keeping my accountability blog elsewhere. i agree that it's really between God and i so that's how i am going to keep it. ;)
